Ed Knoblock, Owner/ Head of Physical Preparation
Ed Knoblock is a Certified Special Strengths Coach through world renowned Westside Barbell, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University (Marquette, MI) and currently a Professional level powerlifter.
Ed has a dynamic, results-oriented approach to training and program design by utilizing the Russian Conjugate Method, grounded in the fundamental principles of physics, mathematics, and bio-mechanics. Ed's ability to relate closely to Pulse’s student athletes, aspiring professional athletes, and experienced professionals, dates back to his collegiate football experience where he had a successful and decorated career. Brandon Cook, Physical Preparation Coach
Brandon Cook is an experienced strength and conditioning coach and certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has spent time working in multiple areas of fitness with an emphasis on sports performance and physical development. He is currently in pursuit of his Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from Lewis University (Romeoville, IL) , and applies his wide knowledge base every day in his coaching to bring clients the best results possible.
Brandon's passion in fitness goes back to years of training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and resonates currently in his training for powerlifting. He attributes much of his success through lessons learned in his own training, working with multiple populations, and the desire to constantly learn, share, and improve.
