WHAT IS AN INTRAPRENEUR?

This position starts with you bringing your own client base to train, then growing from there as seen fit after an initial period of time to gauge effectiveness.

HOURLY RATE: Decided upon by trainer

RENT RATE: $25 a session and 40% on groups with monthly cap

COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Pulse Performance Training is a private training facility, seeking to add members to our Pulse Army community, not just “trainers”, to build and contribute to our cause.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Trainers and coaches are expected to have the capacity to train both one on one clients and small groups and implementing workouts that align with their goals and fitness levels. They must be able to properly instruct, educate, and document the workouts. They will be expected to provide additional information to clients beyond their time together whether it be sending out programs, recommendations, or answering any and all questions they may have outside of the gym.

PAY STRUCTURE AND SCHEDULE:
Pulse Performance Training is seeking independent contractors outside of our payroll, to rent space and be personally responsible for your own set of clients and own hours. However upon being hired you would have exclusive rights to train at the gym and be a part of the growing Pulse Army. We would also show you best practices and help you in getting your base set with clients. Once the facility is further established there is a plan to market the gym as a whole and hand off leads to trainers in the facility based off of specialty, availability, and who needs clients.

Trainers and coaches are free to charge what they wish, with $60/hr being the average for new trainers, but this is entirely at their discretion. The facility will take a maximum of $25 per hour for one on ones and 40% on groups with a cap at $1,000 for the month after which all money made is left for you to keep leaving you to essentially make as much as you wish.

EXAMPLE:
You work 20 hours a week (80 hours a month) charging $60 an hour. At $25 an hour you will have hit the cap after working 10 hours a week (40 a month). Your income would be $4,800 - $1,000 = $3,800 a month

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- National personal training certification is not a requirement but must demonstrate interest in continued education within the field through other sources and outlets
- Personal experience within the industry of at least one year and a competitive background in any facet of strength and conditioning preferred
- Work experience of one year whether it be commercial, private, corporate.
- Ability to show diversity from one on ones to groups will be considered
- Sales experience is NOT necessary but must possess ability to market themselves
- Preferable if trainer already has an existing client base of at least 5-10 clients
- Must be CPR/AED certified or willing to become certified after being hired
- Needs to possess or be ready to purchase liability insurance (this is incredibly affordable)
- Must be okay with tracking all sessions and clients through company software
- Must be willing to participate in continued education courses, meetings, etc.
